Caritas Lok Mo Integrated Vocational Training Centre was established in 1981. For many years, we have been providing diversified vocational skills training services for young people with special educational needs and persons with disabilities. Our goal is to empower them to achieve open employment, become self-reliant, and integrate into society. At the same time, we place strong emphasis on character development, interpersonal skills, pre-employment guidance, job placement follow-up, and family support services.
Since 2024, the Centre has introduced the Supported Employment Service to strengthen both employment training and post-employment follow-up support. In addition, we have been actively expanding our network of caring employers. We are deeply grateful for the trust and support from employers across various sectors over the years, which has enabled our trainees to gain valuable internship and employment opportunities in real workplace settings.
In the future, our centre will continue to uphold the mission of Caritas Hong Kong — “Supporting the disadvantaged, Developing human potential, Promoting communication and reconciliation, and Fostering a spirit of giving back”, as well as the service principle of “delivering love through services filled with hope.”
We are committed to supporting young people in society, especially “the Last, the Least, and the Lost” by helping them discover and develop their inherent talents. Through this process, we aim to nurture them into individuals who are Loving, Learning, and Leading person throught vocational training, thereby continuously enhancing both their personal growth and the well-being of society, and achieve a fulfilling life in their journey of vocational rehabilitation.
