Our Centre's Vocational Counselling team provides comprehensive employment support services for trainees , helping them to leverage their strengths in their job. Vocation counsellors also serve as the liaison between employers and trainees, closely connecting to each stakeholder to build a positive working environment that achieves a win-win situation as below.

⏹︎ Employers can gain suitable personnel for business development.

⏹︎ Trainees become a new workforce, achieving self-reliance and enhancing social integration.

Our vocational training team, led by occupational therapists, offers the following services:

⏹︎ Internship/ Job planning and matching for trainees.

⏹︎ Assisting trainees to adapt to the work environment.

⏹︎ Provide follow-up services for at least six months to both trainees and employers.

Social Work Counselling

Our counselling team consists mainly of social workers and the objectives include:

⏹︎ to provide comprehensive support to trainees and carers

⏹︎ to link up with community resources, provide and assist in applying for appropriate community services, and strengthen the support network

⏹︎ to promote collaboration between the center and the carers to enhance the trainees' training effectiveness and personal growth.

Through individual counselling, the social work team helps trainees to deal with interpersonal relationship, emotional and behavioral problems, learning difficulties and family stress, and provides appropriate referral services according to their needs. 


Groups and activities on different themes are organized regularly to help trainees develop generic skills, such as emotion management, problem-solving skills, social life skills, positive thinking, independence and team spirit etc.

Service Description

Occupational therapy (OT) enhances the abilities of individuals with physical and mental disabilities in various aspects such as work, self-care, social interaction, and motor skills through therapeutic activities, assistive tools, and environmental modifications. The goal is to help them maximize their functional potential and improve their independence.

⏹︎ Pre-employment and on-the-job assessment, training and counseling

    ●  To assist in the development and training of trainees' work values, attitudes, skills, knowledge and habits.

    ●  To assist trainees to understand their own working abilities and to find suitable jobs in line with market needs.

Our Centre has a registered nurse who is mainly responsible for:

⏹︎ Provide hygiene and health education to trainees.

⏹︎ Assist trainees to develop correct health awareness, hygiene and eating habits.

⏹︎ Provide basic health services to trainees, understand their health conditions, and follow up on their health conditions in need.

⏹︎ Provide simple clinical care and first aid. For trainees and staff with serious conditions, they will be escorted to the hospital for diagnosis and treatment to ensure that trainees and staff who are accidentally injured or ill receive proper care in the first place.

⏹︎ Monitor the hygiene conditions of the Centre.

As a bridge of communication between the Centre and parents, the Parent Organizers' Association (POA) strives to connect parents for mutual support, advises and consults on the Centre's services and policies, facilitates the continual improvement of the Centre's services, and assists in the planning and implementation of the POA's various activities.

The term of the Parent Executive Committee is every two years. Its main affairs include:

⏹︎ Attending meetings on a regular basis

⏹︎ Assisting the center in the preparation and implementation of various activities, such as Parents' Day for New Trainees, Lunar New Year Festival Gathering, Parents' Committee Report Conference and Graduates' Day Camp, etc.

⏹︎ Providing feedback on the operation of the Centre's services.

⏹︎ Participating in parent focus groups addressing trainee-related issues


Parents are welcome to participate and attend the Parents' Association meetings, please contact our social worker for details.

  • To encourage trainees to make good use of their leisure time, the Centre regularly organizes a variety of cultural and sports activities for trainees to participate in after school hours to broaden their social circle, develop their potentials and enhance their self-confidence.

  • Both current students and graduates are eligible to apply for joining the Club. For enquiries, please contact the Social Work team of the Centre.
